We were all seeds once

What role do narratives play in bridging the gap between humans and the land we want to protect? Using this question as a guide, I went on a journey to describe climate change and the power of the human in connecting with nature. In the research to access and incorporate a philosophy of life that was culturally tied to nature, I shifted to find the answers in the people mainly responsible for the preservation of this earth: indigenous communities. I interviewed Indigenous scholars from Mexico and Lesotho and through incredibly fulfilling conversations we managed to weave a narrative that could reframe the way we look at our individual role in reversing climate change.
