Betty Davis: What happens when women have a hold on their own narrative?

I spent my New Year’s Eve 2020 alone, in front of a fire, writing about the incredible Betty Davis. It was one of the best NYE ever. Her story brought to my attention an issue that is rampant in society: we are not allowed to have control of our own narrative. ⁣⁣

Betty Davis lived life on her own terms and never compromised her narrative away.
